For Going Merry users
Going Merry shut down.

Scholar Track matches you to scholarships and grants in minutes, and adds athletic recruiting, FAFSA guidance, and essay coaching that Going Merry never offered.

Questions from Going Merry users
Is this free?
Yes. The Free tier requires no credit card and shows up to 5 matched scholarships and grants. You can explore the platform, set up your profile, and start tracking deadlines before deciding whether to upgrade. Paid plans start at $299 (one-time Season Pass).
Do you have the same scholarships Going Merry had?
Going Merry maintained a proprietary database. We built ours independently — it covers federal grants (Pell, FSEOG, TEACH), state-level awards, and private scholarships indexed by sport, academic profile, and demographics. The overlap will vary; our matching engine will find what's relevant to you in minutes.
Can I import my Going Merry saved list?
Unfortunately no. Going Merry shut down on March 5, 2026, and did not offer a data-export window before closing. If you saved a list there, it is gone. Our matching engine will rebuild a new list from your profile in about 5 minutes — and it will be ranked by fit, not just eligibility.
Why should I trust a new platform?
Fair question. We are a young product. What we can point to: the platform is live and functional today at sportscholar-edge.vercel.app; the matching engine, essay coach, recruiting profile, FAFSA task list, and SAT/ACT prep are all working features — not waitlisted mockups. Going Merry raised $8M and still shut down because free doesn't scale. Our paid tiers fund the platform, which means we have a real incentive to keep running.
I'm a student-athlete. Is this built for me?
Yes. The recruiting profile is the feature most scholarship platforms skip entirely. You can build a coach-facing profile with your stats and highlight video, control coach visibility, and message recruiting staff directly — alongside everything else on the academic side.
How is this different from Bold.org or Scholarships.com?
Bold.org is scholarships only — no recruiting, no test prep, no FAFSA, no human coaches. Scholarships.com is a directory; it links you to third-party sites with no matching or guidance. We are the only platform combining athletics + academics + scholarships + grants + FAFSA + essay coaching + human advisory in a single subscription.
What if I need more than the app?
Season Pass ($299 one-time) is the full self-serve toolkit Going Merry never matched — unlimited matched grants, essay coaching, monthly support, the full college database, and SAT/ACT prep for a full year, with no subscription. Full-Service ($13,500/year) is done-for-you advising — FAFSA help, unlimited advising, and application review, limited capacity.
